Clean House

I told myself I was going to take a break from Netflix for a while because once I start a show I am glued to the dang TV until the show is finished. I have gone about a month now without being glued to anything (which is dang good for me) because I have so much sorting and packing to do for the big move, which in in 33 days!!!! Anyhow, I finally decided I needed to watch something while I pack and sort because music was getting old. I wanted to find something that was not going to take ALL of my attention and I could just glance at now and again and still know what was going on. SO...... I found Clean House.
Let me tell you I am NOTHING like the people in this show, NOTHING! But as I am sorting through and packing up something I am finding that I am sort of a pack rat.... KIND OF. I hold on to things because of the memories they bring.... and as Niecy says, you can get rid of that item and still have the memory, so.... that is just what I have been doing and let me tell you it is not easy but I just don't have the room for it anymore, and what is the use of hanging on to something that is just going to sit in a box?
I can say that there are a few things I am having a hard time letting go of, my mother in laws christmas decor. As many of you know she passed away and she LOVED everything Christmas. The family went through her things and picked out and were given some of her things. A lot of the stuff we ended up with was her Christmas decor. There are a few of her Christmas things that we use each year but the rest just sits in a box. I hold on to these things because they remind me of her and her beautiful spirit, but I really need to just let these things go because the memory of her will ALWAYS be there.
All in all I am so glad I decided to watch this show and declutter my life a little bit. Thank you Niecy Nash!

Play that funky music white boy.

Today I feel like I have been in a funk. I HATE FEELING THIS WAY!!!! It's so bad that the idea of shopping does not even sound fun.... and that is CRAZY for me! So what do I do when I feel this way..... NOTHING! I have sat at the computer all day and browsed the internet and browsed through pictures and baby videos of Jace. Jace came and sat on my lap and would tell me what a cute baby he was! I just love him! I cannot believe my little boy is 3 1/2 years old and about to be a big brother!
I also pulled of previous pics from when I was prego with Jace, just to compare because I thought I was a lot bigger this time around then when prego with Jace. BUT... comparing the pics there really is not a whole lot of a difference.

These first two pics are me at 16 weeks pregnant. 1st pic is Pregnancy #1 and 2nd pic is this pregnancy.

These two pics are me at 26 weeks. Again 1st pic is Pregnancy #1 and 2nd is this pregnancy.
It makes me happy to know that it is all in my head about me being so huge already....LOL. Pregnancy is such an AMAZING thing! Lately I have felt the need to bug my little boo. At night before bed I will poke and prod at my belly and if baby does not want to play back I will play music from my phone and put it to my belly...(HE HATES IT). Baby boo immediatly moves from one side of my tummy to the other and starts kicking and turning! LOL. He HATES country and apparently he hates soothing music.....and he is not a huge fan of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Such a picky boy already!

Scratch that..

Well as of this week we found out that we will no longer be going out to North Carolina. Our new location that we will be is Fort Worth Texas!
When Reed told me about this I was not sure what to think. I was so excited about going to North Carolina and having that new adventure. BUT Texas is going to be a great adventure too. I will admit I was a little bothered about the last minute change because I spent SO much time looking into the hosptials and Dr's out in North Carolina and was about ready to send my records over but I am so glad that I didn't. I can say that I am excited about going to Texas and being a little bit closer to home for when it comes time to have baby. Hoping that some family may be able to come out and see us. All in all this is going to be a GREAT summer and I am excited for a change for my family.

Reminiscing

Being that today is the first that I am a stay at home mommy again I have sat here and enjoyed my day with my two little boys! I have LOVED sitting back feeling this little man kick and move! I will admit that I have had about 2 cans of Mt. Dew, so that could be why he is so busy today. I have pushed on my stomach all day long and would get this HUGE power kick back! I LOVE IT!!!!!! I cannot wait to meet my little guy!
I have also sat here today and gone through baby clothes and baby pictures. I miss when Jacer guy was so little that he could not talk back to me! LOL. This boy has such an attitude it drives me crazy! Today timeout has been his best friend. I sit and look at all the pictures of him and just get so excited to have another little man that is going to snuggle me all day long! I am so excited for all of the little baby sounds, and baby cries. Only 4 more months!!!! YAY!!!!!!
Look at how cute this little boy was! Can you imagine how cute this next little guy is going to be? I gotta say Reed and I make a cute kid!

North Carolina

For those of you who actually read my blog and don't know this yet, Reed and I are moving out to North Carolina in April. Reed got a job for the summer which will be taking us out that way. I am excited, scared, nervous, and emotional about it.
EXCITED: For the very first time in our marriage of 4.5 years it will just be my husband and I depending on each other and not having any body else to fall back on and help us out of tough situations.
SCARED: I will be having baby boo out there. I am so gosh dang scared about the what if's. I am so scared to be delivering a baby without any family around me. I have a few girls on the team that I have gotten to know a little bit that I know would be there to help me through it but it is just not the same as having family there.
NERVOUS: Moving across the country... Need I say more.
EMOTIONAL: Well being pregnant does not help this matter, but I am emotional because im scared and nervous and excited all at once. I am going to miss my brothers so much. I am so scared to take Jace so far away from his Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. He loves them all so very much!!!

But all in all I know in my heart that this is the right decision for our family and that we will be so very blessed by going out there. We will be leaving Utah on April 11th and will be heading back to Utah around September 1st.

24 weeks!

This week has been an exhausting one! Baby boo is ALWAYS moving around, always kicking! A few times the kicks are so intense that I will push on my stomach and you can actually see my hand move from him kicking it. I have tried to pull out the camera or have Reed come over to see/feel it but the second he comes over or the camera is out he stops moving! Little stinker! He mainly stays at the top of my belly by my left ribs.... which he kicks A LOT! and it feels like he is pulling on my belly button or the umbilical cord (which is not a wonderful feeling).

This month/Week:
CRAVINGS: Cereal & TruMoo chocolate milk.
WEIGHT GAIN: WAY TO MUCH! People say you should not worry about your weight while you are pregnant but I beg to differ. It is one thing if it healthy weight that is put on..... but for me I gaining a lot of unhealthy weight due to my gosh dang cravings. Lets just say I am 20 lbs away from weighing what I did when delivering with Jace, and I am only half way. YIKES.
WORK: Is kicking my butt. Getting up at 7 a.m. everyday and working till 7 p.m. was so hard on me and I was not getting anything done at home due to coming home and crashing every night that I put in my two weeks and today is actually my last day!!!! YAY!!! I am so excited to be home with my little Jacer guy everyday all day long!
JACE: Jace is so excited to be a big brother! He will randomly come up to me and tell me that he loves his baby brother and he will ask me to lift up my shirt so he can talk to baby and give him kisses! It is the cutest thing in the entire world!!! Brings tears to my eyes when he does it.
HEARTBURN: Oh my hell..... don't even get me started!!!!!
HOW I FEEL: I feel like a tired overgrown cow that needs a lot of sleep!!!!
THE HUSBAND: Reed will not leave me alone! Not that having him around is a bad thing or anything but when he is raping you with his eyes every second of the day (and keep in mind my hormones are off the freaking wall) it really drives ya nuts! I should be flattered that he thinks me pregnant is so attractive but when ya feel like an obese cow..... oh man idk. I LOVE YOU REED ALLEN WHITE and thank you for finding me so sexy during this time.

20 weeks!

As of tomorow January 20th 2013 I will have reached the 20/20 mark. I will be 20 weeks pregnant with only 20 more to go! HALF WAY BABY! The first half of this pregnancy has been a rough one. Like I said I have experienced things with this pregnancy that I did not have to go through with Jace. On the plus side I have not gained as much as I did with Jace. So far we are only up 15 whopping pounds. With Jace I went from 140 to a delivery weight of 210.... YIKES. I'm really hoping to be able to keep my weight down through this pregnancy and try and gain no more then maybe 30 pounds.

Oh and....... We are having another little boy!!!!! I have had a feeling from the start that we were having a little boy but everyone in the family besides Jenn thought it was a girl. I was told that I was carrying differently then I did with Jace, and all of my cravings pointed to girl, but when we got the ultrasound at 16 weeks the very first thing Reed said when he looked at the screen was... "Is that what I think it is?" Lol. Sure enough, it was what he thought it was. Anyhow, we are all excited that we are having another little guy and can't wait for him to come into this world so we can snuggle him.
(As soon as blogger quiets being dumb and startes working I will post pictures of the ultrasound.)

A very WHITE christmas

I have felt like the grinch this year. I have been so busy at work and working late nearly every night that I have been so tired I have not wanted to do anything for christmas, I even got a small tree for Jace and let him have at it this year. I did manage to get a letter to santa though, so Jace did get his christmas. Santa paid Reed a visit a few months ago. He was such a good boy he got a Remington 870 Express shot gun for an early christmas present, and the price on his face was worth every $100 that was spent. Jace got plenty of PJ's and a few board games and halo toys from santa and I got a Tablet! So overall it was a great christmas spent with both sides of the family and lots and lots of laying on the couch!

There may be hope

As many of you know, my situation with my family(mainly with my parents) has been a very rough, rocky road relationship since I was 18 yrs old. Well, after 5 years we are finally working through our issues and my mom and I are becoming a family again. I am not going to say a whole lot more other than I am so grateful for my mom and I am excited to be able to have this chance to build a new relationship with her and have Jace get to know her.

Oh the cravings!

Can i just say to all those people who said each pregnancy gets easier, ya'all lied. My pregnancy with jace was so simple up until delivery, this pregnancy is a completely different story. I have cravings up the wall, i have morning sickness occasionally, and i have been sick non-stop since October. Things i never experienced with my 1st pregnancy. My 1st trimester i craved cheeseburgers and cheese sticks, and now in the 2nd trimester all i want is mountain dew and Dr. Pepper. This baby is going to be off the wall hyper. I am now16 weeks and I'm feeling great and jace is excited to be a big brother!
